About Us

The Inglewood Sunfest was revitalized last year to create a launch event for the Calgary Fringe Festival and to highlight the historic and vibrant community of Inglewood. This revitalization attracted thousands of visitors to the community and provided an ideal kickoff to the Fringe Festival.  

To celebrate the unique nature of the Inglewood community it is felt that a strong focus on the contributing to the community and sustainability will guide the festival. The festival programming will be geared towards participatory, engaging, and sustainable activities. 

The festival will also focus on finding local Calgary based vendors to not only support the local economy but also minimize the travel necessary for the festival. There will be a heavy emphasis on handmade and home based businesses to encourage community participation from all locations in the city.

The Festival is a partnership between the Inglewood BRZ, the Calgary Fringe Festival, and is managed by Engaged Events.
